Wonton Wrapper Mozzarella Sticks
These are super duper easy and amazingly delicious. So easy it is basically cheating.

  1. 1 Pack of mozzarella sticks (I told you it was basically cheating)
  2. Egg roll/wonton wrappers (from the refrigerated section of the grocery store, usually by the fresh veggies/tofu)
  3. 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  4. 1/2 cup water
  5. Sprinkle of garlic powder, salt, and pepper
  6. Dipping sauce of your choice (ranch, marinara, maybe garlic butter if you want to be very very bad.....)
  1. Wrap each mozzarella stick in an egg roll wrapper. Simply set the wrapper in the shape of a diamond and roll them up! Take care to tuck the ends in so cheese doesn't leak out the sides. Using a brush (or hey, fingertips, whatever), seal the wrappers by dabbing water on the sides and edges.
  2. Heat oil on medium heat until it is good and hot. Place your mozzarella sticks in the pan and sear on 4 sides side - it takes about 1 minute per side and they should get brown and crispy.
  3. Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper immediately after removing from heat.
  4. You're done! I got hungry just writing this recipe so that should tell you something. Enjoy!
  1. Recommend using either a cast-iron pan or a good non-stick pan.
  2. Rubber tongs are very helpful here!
